* Storyteller's Circle *
Dear all,

The first meeting for the year of The Storytellers’ Circle (‘STC’) on 29 January 2010 was a very special event.  The National Library Board (‘NLB’) had invited the STC to join in the first anniversary celebrations of its Share-A-Story Club at The Pod (the room at the top!), Level 16, Victoria Street, National Library Building, from 6 – 8.30 pm.  I had three very good reasons to make sure I was there – I am a member of the STC, the Share-A-Story Club and am also a kidsREAD volunteer!

* WordWrights *
Dear Members,

From now on, the WordWrights meeting will be held once every two months. Please see schedule of WW meeting for the first half of the year and do reserve the evening for our meeting.

We will be inviting speakers to talk about self publishing, finding a publisher and other interesting topics for published writers and new writers who are looking at opportunities in Singapore for getting work published.

Next meeting: 17 March, 2010.
Venue will be announced at the end of February.

May - we encourage all our WW members to attend the Asian Festival of Children's Content, 6 - 8 May. Check out the details at www.bookcouncil.sg.
